| Notes for Timothy BODDINGTON | In business in Manchester as Boddington & Leigh. He was commemorated with a marble bust which was noted on a postcard as 'donated to the institute by his wife'. Not known where it is now.[47] A marble tablet was erected to his memory at United Methodist Free Church, Eccles New Road in October 1886.[116] A Memorial Window (designed by Messrs Wilson and Whitehouse, London) was unveiled at the same church in June 1889.[116]
"He was a man of the strictest integrity and did much to foster the spiritual work in the Royal Borough of Salford." Mr. T.O Warburton speaking at "A social evening was held at the Corn Exchange Hotel, Fennel Street, Manchester, on Saturday, October 27th, 1917, by the Employees of Boddington & Leigh, E. Denson & Co. and Saunders & Warburton to celebrate the marriage of Mr. Percy Saunders (Junior Partner of the Firm) to Miss Elsie Brocklehurst."[48]
